We don't offer a postgraduate year.
I'm currently giving colleges a thought, but the only two I've really considered have been University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Duke University. Those are both great schools, and I'm sure I'd do well at either one, but Madison is really large, and Duke is really selective. I've been told that I'll be able to get into Madison on the grace of my test scores, despite my 3.2 cumulative GPA, but I'm not too sure about being able to go to Duke. It helps that I have a relative there, and that again, my test scores aren't too shabby, but I highly doubt they'd accept me.
So I'm faced with just two colleges that appeal to me, one that may not return the sentiment, and the other that might not be a good fit anyway.
So, which others should I consider? I don't want to go to a different Wisconsin school, and I don't really want to go to Minnesota, so where should I head?
Maybe I'll go to Iowa.

I know your initial ACT score, but are you taking the SAT too? Do you want to leave the Midwest or stay? Do you care what size city the school is in? Any idea what you're interested in studying?
In the Midwest, have you thought about Northwestern, University of Chicago, Purdue, Washington-St Louis, Kenyon, Notre Dame?
Not in the Midwest, what about Dartmouth, Georgetown, Davidson, Vanderbuilt, Williams?
And of course, Duke may very well let you in, esp. if your grades this year are good.
Wes or I could talk to you more about any of these schools or the thousands of other schools out there. We love school(s).

I took the PSAT, and I scored in the 99th percentile, so I'm almost a lock to be at least a semi-finalist for a National Merit Scholarship. I'll take the SAT and ACT again this year.
I'd like the school to be somewhat smaller, I've heard bad things about how large Madison is. I think I'd like to live in a large city, but I'm not sure, and I can always transfer if I'm unhappy.
I haven't considered those schools, I haven't really considered any. I'd love to speak with you guys about schools, maybe we should take a trip across the country, a magical collegiate mystery tour.

Hey I say just do what I did. Keep changing schools until you are happy. =) Or just don't even go to college, most kids drop out anyway. haha

We're happy to tour schools near us. When are you coming to visit?
