The Placebo Effect
It makes me wonder how much control our minds could truly have over our bodies. I mean, obviously some of our functions are beyond our conscious control, but couldn't we make certain connections ourselves, with just concentration as cause?
Perhaps medical miracles attributed to God are really just the person's faith in God manifesting itself as so intense that it could cause things to happen that we can't consciously make happen. That is, things that our bodies are capable of can't happen until something makes us believe they can/will happen.
Though God deserves credit for many things, some of what he gets credit for is probably slop.
